A Decade of Dedication and Quality: Social Net Announces the Start of the Razvitak Project in Mostar

A decade of dedicated work characterised by top quality and a high level of professionalism, Social Net Group has crowned with the capital project of the Razvitak residential-business complex in Mostar, whose construction begins in the second half of 2024.

The main activity of this BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company, founded in 2013, encompasses managing part or entire business processes for foreign clients, including back-office and front-office processes, market research, marketing and IT support.

Together with our partner, Monetize AD from Sarajevo, Social Net started the implementation of a major project in June 2022: the construction of the Razvitak residential and business complex in Mostar.

According to Nezir Čahtarević, the director of Social Net d.o.o. Sarajevo, they could have invested in other significant projects, but none of them have the importance and generational responsibility of Razvitak.

“The Razvitak project is not just a project, but also history, just as Mostar is not just one of the cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the foundation of what Bosnia and Herzegovina is. This project is in some way the responsibility of all of us. In the last 30 years, there have been several attempts at its revitalisation, but unfortunately, the interests of potential investors, citizens, professionals and the City of Mostar did not align. Therefore, our joint team of young people, courageous but with a clear vision, decided to take a very risky step. We knew that a difficult job awaited us, because it involves the interests of citizens, the City, professionals, historical legacy and investors. And precisely because of that, our interest and our vision is much greater than the investment project itself.”

What has been done so far and what facilities are planned within the complex?

The Razvitak residential-business complex spans 41,000 m2. It will have three floors with parking space, solving the pressing public parking issue in that part of Mostar. Razvitak will also include a modern shopping mall, a business complex and apartments. We will define the details of all positions in the next step, during the creation of the conceptual design. We already have inquiries from renowned brands and companies for business spaces.

A key step was the adoption of the Regulatory Plan in mid-November. For almost a whole year, we diligently worked together with the services of the City of Mostar to create a solution that will make us all proud. The fact that the solution was unanimously adopted speaks volumes. The next steps are engaging the Association of Architects of Bosnia and Herzegovina, defining the project task, and then announcing an international public call for a conceptual solution, which will be evaluated by a multi-member Commission consisting of representatives of the City of Mostar, investors and professionals. Our plan is to start demolishing the existing building and begin constructing the new Razvitak in the second half of 2024.

What other realised projects are you proud of and why?

If we are to highlight strategic moves, then the acquisition of Go Cloud, a company in the same business as us, should be mentioned. At one time, it was the first company that organised home office work well before COVID. The employees and management of that company have given us new value and freshness.

Another thing I would point out is the formation of the Sales Sector, which systematically manages the sales process, the process of finding new clients and maintaining relationships with clients using modern technology and tools.

And of course, we are proud of new projects. We have established cooperation with one of the largest BPO companies in the USA. We have expanded our cooperation with our partner Würth from Germany, or rather their subsidiary Normfest. We have also signed contracts for support services in public urban transport for several cities in Germany, as well as with one of the leading travel agencies in Europe.

Social Net d.o.o. was founded in 2013 in Sarajevo, and the main activity of our BPO company encompasses managing part or entire business processes for clients, including back-office and front-office processes, market research, marketing and IT support.
